Best iPhone apps and iPod Touch for children
What is your favorite or iPhone iPod Touch applications for your children?
Although I've had the iPhone for a few years, and I just started to get into the applications. We try to be careful with the amount of time children spend on the computer / iPhone, but once in a while they get to play with our applications. Unfortunately, I found it hard to find good applications for children. When I'm with a group of moms or parents that have an iPhone, which tend to be more and more these days, a good theme, iPhone apps child-friendly and seem to come. I thought the establishment of this center for us for the participation of parents of our favorite. We have three girls (six, three, one), so our favorite tend to be in this age group. Here are some of our favorites, and I hope that we can start a good list in comments capsule to discover new applications for children.I know it sounds crazy to children under two years of age to use iPhone application, but we have a one-year-old loves to look at the animals and hear the sounds of animals. I did not find many applications that fit too, but our favorite here:
Animal fun: I have pictures of animals, and say their name, and make their voices heard. (FREE)
Finger piano: Play the piano at random or follow the instructions for older children. (LITE VERSION IS FREE)Simple drawing: Draw with the touch of a finger (FREE)
Zoo child: free status shows pictures of animals and when clicked because they make it sound. (FREE)
Zoo sounds: the free version has only 4 votes animals, the paid version (0.99) on the 12 animals.

We have 5 kids so keeping the occupied is a big deal in my house. We download a lot of audiobooks. There are lots of great sites to get them, but we use this site a lot because all the stories are free and original. http://www.twirlygirlshop.com/moral-stories-for-kids
